Report: Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland join Eduardo Vargas race

A report claims that Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland will battle for Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas in the remaining weeks of the transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland have reportedly joined Arsenal in the race to sign Napoli forward Eduardo Vargas this summer.

Arsenal were believed to be close to sealing a loan move for the 24-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia.

However, according to gianlucadimarzio.com, QPR and Sunderland have registered their interest and the pair will go head-to-head for a permanent deal in the remaining weeks of the window.

Vargas impressed for Chile at this summer's World Cup.
