Defender Shaun Cummings has committed his future to Reading by signing a contract extension with the Premier League club.
The 23-year-old has become a key member of the Reading squad since he joined from Chelsea in 2009.
Having now agreed to stay at the Madejski Stadium until 2015, Cummings told the club's official website that he has so far enjoyed playing in the top flight.
"I'm very excited to remain at a club that has such ambition in the Premier League," he said. "To have already played against the likes of Man United and Liverpool is great experience at my age is great so I can't ask for anything more.
"Everyone wants to fight for their shirt and play in the Premier League - and everyone knows what we've got to achieve to stay here."
The full-back has made seven appearances this season.
