Schalke's Klaas-Jan Huntelaar confident of top-four finish

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is confident that Schalke will qualify for next season's Champions League.

Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has said that he is confident his side will finish in the top four in the Bundesliga this season.

The Royal Blues are currently fourth in the league table with 52 points from 33 matches, just a point ahead of fifth-placed Freiburg.

"[Failing to qualify for the Champions League is] not something we can afford to think about," Bundesliga.com quotes him as saying.

"We want to get into the Champions League and our fate's in our own hands. That's all that matters right now."

Schalke are away at Freiburg in their final league game of the season on Saturday.
