Team News: James Milner, Fernandinho return for Manchester City

James Milner and Fernandinho come into the Manchester City starting lineup as Manuel Pellegrini makes two changes to his side for the trip to Tottenham Hotspur.

Manuel Pellegrini has made two changes to his Manchester City starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.

James Milner and Fernandinho both come into the side in place of Jesus Navas and Yaya Toure as the Citizens look to tighten their hold on second place in the table.

Further up the field, Sergio Aguero, who has scored nine goals in his last six appearances against Spurs, has been selected to lead the line at White Hart Lane.

Danny Rose returns in place of the injured Ben Davies in the only change made by Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The Lilywhites have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 outings coming into today's game, but they will have Hugo Lloris between the sticks once more following his recent return from an injury layoff.

Subs: Vorm, Chiriches, Yedlin, Paulinho, Stambouli, Adebayor, Soldado

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Fernando, Milner, Lampard, Silva, Aguero
