Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has revealed that he has no regrets turning down Demba Ba.
The striker was expected to join the Potters from Hoffenheim in January 2011 before he failed a medical.
The Senegal international went on to score seven goals in 11 appearances for West Ham United ahead of a successful move to Newcastle United.
When asked if he regrets what happened, Pulis told reporters: "No, not at all.
"We have a medical team here who made a decision and they are fantastic - you only have to see the number of times we get various people on the pitch and what we get out of our players.
"They don't need any backing up. They thought there was a problem there - fine, we'll get on with it."
Ba has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the Magpies this season.
