Ki Sung-yueng has claimed that Swansea City should "do better" than last season's eighth-place finish in the Premier League because they have more "quality" within the squad.
Garry Monk's side started this campaign strongly by going four games unbeaten, but in the last four, they have failed to pick up a single win in the top flight.
"We've made a decent start in the league, but we can do better," Ki told the club's official website. "This season I think we have more quality in the squad, so we can push on and move up the table.
"Our next game against Stoke will be crucial for us. Winning that will give us a lot of confidence and use that result to use as a platform to move up the table."
The Welsh outfit will host Stoke at the Liberty Stadium after the international break on October 19.
