Swansea City have reportedly decided to offer head coach Francesco Guidolin a new contract at the Liberty Stadium.
The Italian boss arrived at the Premier League outfit in January as a replacement for Garry Monk but despite moving the club away from the relegation zone, a fresh deal appeared unlikely with Swansea being linked with several high-profile names.
However, according to BBC Wales Sport, Guidolin will be rewarded for guiding the Swans to seven victories and three draws from his 15 matches in charge.
Swansea's latest win came away at West Ham United on Saturday afternoon, a result which took the club to within two points of 10th-placed Stoke City in the standings.
An announcement regarding Guidolin's future could come as soon as Wednesday.
