Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis has no plans to leave in the summer

Bafetimbi Gomis says that he wants to stay at Swansea City after earning more minutes on the pitch.

Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis has revealed that he intends to stay at the Liberty Stadium beyond this season.

The 29-year-old has previously been linked with a move away due to a lack of game time, but since Wilfried Bony's departure in January, the Frenchman has had more minutes on the pitch.

"I see myself here next season," Gomis told L'Equipe. "I play more than in the beginning of the season. I'm now very well in Swansea."

The Swans are currently eighth in the Premier League table with seven games left to play.
