Udinese have given their Champions League hopes a boost with a 2-0 win over rivals Lazio at the Stadio Friuli.
In an open first half, Antonio Di Natale was twice thwarted by visiting goalkeeper Federico Marchetti, while Tommaso Rocchi could only put his header wide following a quick Lazio counter attack.
Despite fewer chances after the break, Udinese went ahead around the hour when Di Natale got on the end of Maurizio Domizzi's cross to convert.
The forward was off target again with 15 minutes to play, while Cristian Ledesma's speculative 35-yard drive went narrowly wide for Lazio.
The home side sealed the win in the second minute of injury time when Roberto Pereyra struck.
Lazio's night got worse soon after as Andre Dias was shown a straight red card.
