Watford striker Stefano Okaka has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Shanghai Shenhua.
Last summer, the Hornets signed the Italian international on a five-year deal from Anderlecht, but he scored just four goals from 19 outings in his first season in the Premier League.
However, according to The Sun, that has not stopped Shenhua from showing an interest in the 27-year-old and a lucrative deal is already said to be on the table.
It has been claimed that the Chinese Super League side are willing to pay in the region of £12m in order to seal Okaka's signature in the coming weeks.
Head coach Marco Silva is currently in the process of assessing his first-team squad after moving to Vicarage Road from Hull City.
