The West Ham United owners and club board are meeting on Saturday to discuss Slaven Bilic's future as manager, according to a report.

The West Ham United board and owners have scheduled a meeting on Saturday to discuss Slaven Bilic's future at the club, according to a report.

On Friday evening, the Hammers dropped to 17th in the Premier League table after a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion.

The loss was their fifth in their opening nine league matches and heaped more pressure on Bilic as the London Stadium crowd loudly booed the manager and players after the game.

According to Sky Sports News, the West Ham hierarchy will meet on Saturday to determine whether the 49-year-old is still seen as the right man to take the club forward.

Bilic's future was the subject of speculation for much of last season as the Hammers struggled to settle in their new home, though they eventually secured an 11th-place finish in the league.
