Report: Wolfsburg want Alberto Bueno

A report claims that Wolfsburg want to sign Rayo Vallecano striker Alberto Bueno this summer.

Wolfsburg are reportedly interested in signing Rayo Vallecano forward Alberto Bueno this summer.

The 26-year-old has netted an impressive 23 league goals in 61 games for Rayo since joining in 2013, while he hit four goals in their 4-2 win over Levante at the weekend.

The striker's form has led to talk of a call-up for Spain and it is understood that a number of European clubs are circling.

According to Bild, Wolfsburg have identified the former Real Madrid attacker as a leading target for this summer.

Due to Rayo's financial problems, they would realistically be unable to reject a big-money offer from abroad.
