Kenny Jackett reveals frustration after draw with Charlton Athletic

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett admits that he was disappointed not to collect all three points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Charlton Athletic.

Kenny Jackett has admitted that he was left feeling slightly disappointed after Wolverhampton Wanderers drew 1-1 with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night.

Danny Batth scored in the second half to secure a point for Wolves in the capital, but Jackett believes that his side were on top for long enough to have recorded a victory over the Addicks.

"I am disappointed for the players because I felt that we did very well," the Wolves boss told reporters. "Both goals came from set pieces, and their one came from a block.

"The overall performance of the team was very good, and in the second half we had a great tempo. We passed the ball very well in the first half without having as much punch as we should have had.

"You need to score when you are on top to win games, and there is a degree of frustration for us, but promise for the season ahead as well."

Wolves return to action against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
