League One outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers lost by the odd goal in five during their pre-season friendly against Real Betis at home.
The home side started brightly and went in front in the fourth minute thanks to defender Richard Stearman, who headed in a corner from Leigh Griffiths.
Their lead lasted just 11 minutes, though, as Salva Sevilla converted his team's first meaningful effort of the contest with a low strike from close range.
Chances were then created at both ends as the half wore on, but neither side were able to take the lead before the half-time whistle.
However, just five minutes after the restart, Wolves went back in front. Having set up Stearman earlier on, Griffiths turned scorer on this occasion when he reacted quickly to a loose ball inside the area.
Betis were level in the 55th minute thanks to Cedric Mabwati, who rounded off a counter-attack from the Spanish visitors.
They then claimed the decisive goal 19 minutes from time when Javier Matilla managed to send the ball beyond the reach of Carl Ikeme into the home goal.
