Agnieszka Radwanska has insisted that she had no divine right to win the French Open after the two top seeds were knocked out of the Grand Slam.
Radwanska followed Serena Williams and Li Na out of the exit door following a straight-sets defeat to Ajla Tomljanovic in the third round in Paris on Friday.
"If the first and second seeds lost, it doesn't mean the third one is going to win," BBC Sport quotes Radwanska as saying.
"It's stupid to say that. It doesn't matter who is in the draw, if you play good then you're going to win. I just didn't play good enough today to win the match."
Meanwhile, both Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer were pushed to four sets in their respective matches before progressing into the fourth round.
