Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.

Liverpool are once again set to cope without two of their centre-forward options for the visit of Leeds United to Anfield in Wednesday's Premier League clash.

The Reds will be without Roberto Firmino for a "while" owing to a muscular problem, and the full extent of Diogo Jota's ankle injury is still unclear.

Jurgen Klopp otherwise has no fresh concerns to worry about and is seemingly set to name Alisson Becker in between the sticks, although Caoimhin Kelleher is confirmed to be starting the EFL Cup final.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson were both rested for the weekend's win over Norwich City, but the duo ought to demote Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas to the bench here.

Ibrahima Konate could also displace Joel Matip in the heart of defence, while Fabinho will expect an immediate recall to the engine room in place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain alongside Jordan Henderson.

Thiago Alcantara may be spared for the EFL Cup final given his fitness woes, so Harvey Elliott may enjoy a start against the team he suffered his severe ankle injury against back in September.

Naby Keita would drop to the bench if that is the case, and Klopp may elect to leave the front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz untouched despite the option of Divock Origi.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Elliott, Fabinho, Henderson; Salah, Mane, Diaz
