Reports suggest that Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are ready to offer Ibrahim Afellay a way out of Barcelona.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have been put on red alert after it emerged that Ibrahim Afellay is to leave Barcelona on loan.

The 26-year-old, who has only made 17 appearances since his January 2011 move, has been sidelined with a cruciate knee ligament injury since September.

According to talkSPORT, Spurs, Liverpool and Lazio are ready to offer the Dutch international an opportunity of first-team football.

Afellay, who has 36 caps for Holland, moved to the Nou Camp from Ajax for a reported £2.8m fee.
