Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Valencia.

Real Madrid will be without the services of a number of first-team players for Saturday's La Liga clash with Valencia at Bernabeu.

Antonio Rudiger's yellow card in the goalless draw with Rayo Vallecano last weekend will rule the Germany international out of this match through suspension.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, meanwhile, picked up a muscular problem during the warm-up ahead of Wednesday's Champions League contest with Braga.

Andriy Lunin will therefore get the nod between the sticks, with Thibaut Courtois a long-term absentee due to a serious knee injury, while Eder Militao also damaged his ACL in August and will be out until at least March.

Aurelien Tchouameni will be missing until potentially the start of 2024 due to a broken foot, while Dani Ceballos is still absent despite returning to training as he bids to overcome a muscular issue.

Jude Bellingham was not risked against Braga due to a shoulder problem, and the England international has been ruled out of this match at a late stage, so Brahim Diaz could keep his spot in the side.

Dani Carvajal and David Alaba will also return at the back, but Arda Guler is unavailable, with the Turkey international suffering a fresh fitness setback ahead of the Braga clash.

Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo were both on the scoresheet against Braga and should continue as the front two, while Luka Modric might miss out on the starting lineup once again.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Lunin; Carvajal, Nacho, Alaba, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos; Diaz; Vinicius, Rodrygo
