West Bromwich Albion: 'No bids for Saido Berahino'

West Bromwich Albion play down claims that striker Saido Berahino is to be sold to another club.

West Bromwich Albion have revealed that they have received no bids for striker Saido Berahino.

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from The Hawthorns, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly preparing a bid.

West Brom have taken to their official Twitter account to play down suggestions that Berahino will leave, after a false tweet claimed that the England Under-21 man was set to be sold.

The false tweet has since been deleted.
