Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that a complaint has been lodged to UEFA about an alleged bottle-throwing incident during last night's Champions League first-leg playoff in Turkey.
The Frenchman is believed to have been targeted by an object during his side's goalless draw with Besiktas.
The incident topped off a frustrating night for Arsenal, who will be without Aaron Ramsey in the second leg at the Emirates after he was sent off following two bookings.
According to Sky Sports News, Wenger, who was not hit by the object, has confirmed that he told the European governing body that a "bottle or something" was aimed at him.
UEFA's disciplinary department are expected to investigate the claims before a decision is made.
