Team News: Danny Welbeck makes first Arsenal start in 10 months for Hull City FA Cup clash

Danny Welbeck makes his first start in 10 months as Arsenal take on Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup at the Emirates.

Danny Welbeck has been handed his first start for Arsenal in 10 months for this afternoon's FA Cup fifth-round clash against Hull City at the Emirates.

The striker, who marked his return to action from a knee injury with a winning goal against Leicester City last weekend, will lead the line today.

As expected, David Ospina has replaced Petr Cech in goal, while Calum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs have entered the back four.

Mathieu Flamini and Mohammad Elneny have been preferred in midfield to Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey, while Joel Campbell, Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott have entered the attack.

Defenders Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny are the only survivors of last weekend's match against Leicester as manager Arsene Wenger has one eye on Tuesday's Champions League clash against Barcelona.

As for Hull, manager Steve Bruce has made 10 changes to his team and one of the inclusions is that of Nick Powell, who is making his debut after joining the club from Manchester United on loan.

Chuba Akpom and Isaac Hayden are not in the squad as they are ineligible to play against their parent club.

Arsenal: Ospina; Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Flamini, Elneny; Campbell, Iwobi, Walcott; Welbeck
Subs: Macey, Bellerin, Monreal, Coquelin, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Sanchez, Giroud

Hull City: Jakupovic; Davies, Bruce, Maguire, Tymon; Taylor, Meyler, Maloney, Elmohamady; Powell; Diomande
Subs: Kuciak, Odubajo, Huddlestone, Hernandez, Diame, Aluko, Robertson
