Phil Parkinson: Bradford City lacked "touch of class" in front of goal

Bradford manager Phil Parkinson admits that his side lacked a vital "touch of class" in front of goal in their goalless draw with Reading in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Phil Parkinson has admitted that his side were lacking a "touch of class" in front of goal during their FA Cup quarter-final stalemate with Reading.

The clash at Valley Parade finished goalless, meaning that the sides will need a replay at the Madejski Stadium to determine who gets a trip to Wembley.

The Bantams manager told BBC Sport: "I thought our lads did excellently in a different type of way than against Sunderland. We had to be very professional and wait for the moment to arrive. Unfortunately it didn't.

"In the second half we had the momentum but we didn't have that touch of class in and around the box.

"We look forward to the replay. Everyone will be expecting Reading to win that one but you never know what can happen on the night. We know they'll approach it differently and look to open up."

Bradford previously won the FA Cup in 1911.
