Graeme Sharp admits David Moyes worry

Former Everton forward Graeme Sharp says it will be difficult for the club to keep David Moyes at the helm.

Former Everton forward Graeme Sharp has admitted that David Moyes could soon be lured to a bigger club.

Moyes has been in charge at Goodison Park since 2002, and has consistently led the Toffees to respectable finishes despite a tight budget.

Sharp, however, has claimed that it will be difficult to keep the Scot at the club for the long-term.

"David has been at Everton ten years now and while some people may look at him and think he hasn't won anything, what he has achieved has been fantastic," Sharp told talkSPORT.

"You look at the finishes he has had in the Premier League and he has given us an FA Cup final. He has been punching above his weight.

"Everton can't compete with the big boys financially nowadays so there may be a possibility that he could be lured to a top-six club but it is something we just have to get on with.

"We just want to enjoy what he is doing at Everton at the moment but we can't put away the fact that the big boys will come sniffing eventually."

Sharp made 322 league appearances for Everton.
