Report: Brendan Rodgers to keep Liverpool job

Brendan Rodgers will reportedly still be in charge of Liverpool at the beginning of next season.

Liverpool have no plans to sack Brendan Rodgers this summer, according to reports.

The Northern Irishman said that he expects his job to be on the line following an embarrassing 6-1 defeat at Stoke City on the final day of the season.

However, The Telegraph reports that the club have no intention of replacing him at this stage, although he does face crucial talks with the owners to discuss what went wrong this year.

Rodgers is still expected to be under immediate pressure next season and it is not clear how long he has to turn the club's fortunes around.

The Reds finished sixth in the table.
