Clint Hill targets Manchester United upset

QPR captain Clint Hill says that his teammates revel in the 'underdog' tag and will not rule out a shock win away to big-spending Manchester United.

Clint Hill is optimistic that "massive underdogs" Queens Park Rangers can spring a surprise for big-spending Manchester United at Old Trafford today.

The Red Devils are poised to unleash the result of their £150m spending spree on the Londoners, with Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind among those expected to feature.

However, Hill insists that boasting a host of big-name talents does not come without a level of expectancy to perform, and the QPR skipper hopes that his side can spoil the United party this afternoon.

"We know we'll be massive underdogs, but that might just suit us," he told QPR's official website. "All the pressure will be on them, make no mistake about it.

"There will be a level of expectancy amongst the United fans, especially after the business they've done in the last few weeks.

"They've not had the best of starts to the season and they're yet to win, so that might be playing on their minds as well. We'll be heading there full of confidence and with the signings we've made, who knows what might happen."

Kickoff is scheduled for 4pm, and you can follow live coverage with Sports Mole from 3pm.
