Chris Smalling: 'Belief is back at Manchester United'

Chris Smalling claims that the confidence in the Manchester United dressing room will allow their current run of form to continue over Christmas.

Chris Smalling has claimed that Manchester United are playing with belief again after recording four successive wins in the Premier League.

Tricky fixtures against Southampton and Liverpool are next on the schedule, but Smalling is certain that United are ready to take on any test in their current form.

"I think at the moment we are in such a good run of form," the England defender is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We have got that belief back.

"Now we will work hard for the rest of the week because we have got two big games next week [that could] put us up there with the boys around us.

"We are happy playing games and getting the results. It is a happy place at the minute. I think we are starting to get a good number of players that are playing regularly and I think it is showing."

United are currently fourth in the table, 11 points behind leaders Chelsea.
