Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal reportedly wants to sign Hoffenheim midfielder Roberto Firmino in the January transfer window.
The Brazilian, who has been directly involved in 10 Bundesliga goals for his side this season – scoring five and assisting five – is widely regarded as one of the best young talents in European football.
The 23-year-old joined Hoffenheim from Figueirense in 2010, but has only just started to fulfil his early potential.
According to The Express, United are ready to make a £20m move when the winter window opens at the start of next year.
Firmino received his first call-up to the Brazil squad last month.
