Aston Villa have reportedly identified Aberdeen youngster Calvin Ramsey as a potential transfer target.
The West Midlands outfit already possess one of the best academy systems in the Premier League with many prospects having been provided with a first-team debut over the past 12 months.
However, according to Italian journalist Ekrem Konur, Villa are ready to rival Arsenal and Manchester United for Aberdeen teenager Ramsey.
At a time when the Dons have suffered five successive defeats in the Scottish Premiership, the 18-year-old has emerged as one of the best young players in the country.
The right-back has contributed three assists from nine outings in the top flight, two of which have come in the last three contests.
Ramsey recently penned a new contract, tying himself to Pittodrie until the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
