Vlad Chiriches disappointed with lack of playing time

Vlad Chiriches admits that he is unhappy at Tottenham Hotspur due to the lack of playing time he has been given this season.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Vlad Chiriches has admitted that he has become unhappy at the club due to the lack of chances given to him by Mauricio Pochettino.

The Romanian has been used sparingly this season as Pochettino has preferred to partner club captain Younes Kaboul with Jan Vertonghen, but he claims that he will not give up on breaking into the team on a regular basis, despite reports linking him with a move to Serie A.

"I don't know anything about the links, but now I can't say I'm very happy at the club because I'm not in the team and it's hard for me," Chiriches told Sky Sports News. "But I think I can improve my game and I can play."

Andre Villas-Boas brought Chiriches to the club from Steaua Bucharest in August of last year.
