Kylian Mbappe tells Mauricio Pochettino that he has no desire to extend his Paris Saint-Germain contract beyond 2022, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has allegedly told Mauricio Pochettino that he will not be extending his stay in the French capital.

The World Cup-winning Frenchman is due to become a free agent in the summer of 2022, meaning that PSG are at risk of losing him for free after forking out £130.5m to sign him from Monaco.

PSG are supposedly pressing ahead with plans to sign Mbappe's compatriot Paul Pogba, but the 22-year-old is believed to have already made his mind up over his next career move.

According to Marca, Mbappe spoke with Pochettino following his return from a summer holiday, and he informed the PSG coach that he has no desire to remain at the club beyond 2022.

The report claims that Mbappe is not prepared to force an exit from PSG, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is happy to bide his time with regard to an official approach.

The Frenchman has directly been involved in 193 goals (132 strikes, 61 assists) in 171 games for Les Parisiens over the past four years, but he failed to find the back of the net at Euro 2020.
