Luiz Felipe Scolari pleased with Brazil display

Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari believes that his side played better during their draw with Mexico than when they beat Croatia.

Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has claimed that his side is improving, despite their stalemate with Mexico at the World Cup.

The host nation saw their Group A campaign suffer a blip on Tuesday night as they were held to a goalless draw by the Mexicans.

However, Scolari is satisfied that his players are getting better as the tournament progresses.

"In my opinion - it's my own, not that of the critics - the team played better than they did against Croatia," he told FIFA.com. "There was at least an extra 10% than what there was against Croatia.

"The team has evolved. We can still improve, but we can still qualify for the next round. We showed quality, so I am satisfied."

Brazil play their final game of the group stage on Monday when they face Cameroon.
