Gary Cahill bemoans "sloppy" goal

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill admits that the team conceded a "sloppy" goal against Paris Saint-Germain.

Gary Cahill has said that Chelsea conceded a "sloppy goal" late on in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain this evening.

Jose Mourinho's side were drawing 1-1 at half time in France but let in two goals in the second half, including one in stoppage time, to give the French champions a 3-1 lead.

The defender told Sky Sports News: "It was a horrible time to concede and a sloppy goal. Unlike us. It's a big blow. 2-1 would have been OK but this is devastating.

"It makes a huge difference. But the year that we won it, in 2012, we had to come from behind against Napoli. We have the players and the characters to do it. It will be tough but we need to do it."

The teams meet again at Stamford Bridge next week.
