Kurt Zouma stretchered off against Manchester United

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is stretchered off with a serious-looking leg injury during the second half of his side's match against Manchester United.

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has suffered a serious-looking leg injury during the Premier League fixture against Manchester United.

Early in the second half, the French international jumped to head a high ball in the centre of the pitch, only to land awkwardly and his leg buckle underneath him.

The 21-year-old was in visible distress and received several minutes of treatment before he was stretchered off to a standing ovation from both sets of supporters.

A late equaliser from Diego Costa secured a 1-1 draw for Chelsea after Jesse Lingard had earlier given United the lead.
