England manager Gareth Southgate calls Tammy Abraham up to the Three Lions' squad for October's World Cup qualifiers, according to a report.

Roma striker Tammy Abraham has reportedly been recalled to the England squad for this month's World Cup qualifiers.

The 24-year-old struggled to establish himself under Thomas Tuchel during his time at Chelsea, but he has been handed a new lease of life under Jose Mourinho since moving to Roma.

Abraham already boasts four goals and three assists from 10 games for his new club, including five goal contributions from seven matches in the 2021-22 Serie A season already.

The striker's form has supposedly not gone unnoticed by Gareth Southgate, with The Athletic reporting that the England boss has recalled him for October's games with Andorra and Hungary.

Abraham has not pulled on the Three Lions shirt since facing Iceland in the Nations League last November, and the report adds that he is not replacing anyone in the camp.

The ex-Chelsea man boasts six caps for the England senior team and has scored one goal for his country, which came against Montenegro in a 7-0 Euro 2020 Qualifying win.
