Stephan Lichtsteiner returns to Juventus training

Stephan Lichtsteiner resumes training with Juventus for the first time since undergoing heart surgery for breathing difficulties.

Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has trained with the club for the first time since undergoing heart surgery.

The 31-year-old has been out of action for the past month, after surgery to correct cardiac arrhythmia that had been causing him breathing problems.

His last appearance for the Bianconeri came during their 1-1 draw with Frosinone, which was the match in which his problems were discovered.

However, he has now returned to training with his teammates, but he is not expected to play any part in their Champions League meeting with Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday evening.
