Tim Sherwood: 'I'm bitterly disappointed following loss to Leicester City'

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood reveals that he is "bitterly disappointed" following the club's 3-2 loss away at Leicester City in the Premier League.

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has stated that he is "bitterly disappointed" following the club's 3-2 defeat to Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Villans appeared to be cruising with a two-goal lead going into the final stages of the game, but came undone as the hosts pulled three goals back in just under 20 minutes to seal the win.

"I am bitterly disappointed for everyone associated with the club that we had a game won with 30 minutes to go," Sherwood told Sky Sports News after the clash.

"We played well for an hour and couldn't wrestle the game back.

"The players were professional enough but know on reflection that Leicester didn't have to work very hard for their goals."

Villa currently find themselves in 15th spot in the league table after five games of the new season.
