Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper vows to stay calm after MK Dons loss

Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper insists that he will remain calm with his players following their 3-0 defeat at home to promotion rivals MK Dons.

Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper has insisted that he will not 'scream' at his players following their 3-0 defeat at home to MK Dons.

The Robins saw their automatic promotion hopes in League One suffer a blow on Saturday as they were comfortably beaten by their top-six rivals.

Despite admitting his disappointment at the result, Cooper has vowed to stay calm in order to put things right.

"When you concede three at home you have to look at it," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I won't be jumping up and down and screaming at the players. That won't help.

"I didn't think we created enough in the final third. We weren't incisive enough."

Swindon are back in action on Tuesday night when they make the short trip to league leaders Bristol City.
