Reading boss Steve Clarke not getting carried away with FA Cup run

Reading boss Steve Clarke urges his team to remain focused following their 2-1 win over Cardiff City in the FA Cup fourth round.

Reading boss Steve Clarke has refused to get carried away by his side's 2-1 win over Cardiff City in the FA Cup fourth round.

The Royals made it through to the last 16 on Saturday with a late 2-1 triumph in South Wales.

Despite teams such as Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all being knocked out of the competition, Clarke is just glad to be in the next round.

"Everyone will think it has opened up a little bit, especially with Man City and Chelsea going out," the Scot told BBC Sport. "But you can't get carried away. I'll just look forward to the draw and see who we get."

Reading's league campaign continues on Tuesday with a trip to struggling Millwall.
