Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has admitted that his side were left devastated after losing 2-1 to Atletico Madrid in La Liga on Saturday.

Arda Turan scored late on for the visitors after a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty had cancelled out an early header from Tiago.

"We feel sick because we've worked all week and the team has no reward," Casillas told Marca.

"It hurts us as much as it hurts the fans. We weren't up to par."

Casillas was subjected to whistles and jeers from some sections of the home crowd during the derby.
