Tottenham Hotspur announce that Oliver Skipp has signed a new deal at the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that midfielder Oliver Skipp has committed his future to the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

The England Under-21 international became an integral cog in the Lilywhites' engine room during the first half of the season before a troublesome groin injury consigned him to the treatment room.

Skipp has nevertheless enjoyed a breakthrough season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with 28 appearances in all competitions, including 14 starts in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte has been very vocal in his support of Skipp since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo in the dugout, and the 21-year-old has now extended his Tottenham stay for another five years.

Skipp joined Tottenham's academy in 2013 and has risen through the ranks to make 52 appearances for the North London club in all competitions - providing two assists in that time.

The Englishman was sent out on loan to Norwich City in the 2020-21 season and started 44 Championship matches in their title-winning season before becoming a regular for Tottenham, but it is still unclear when he may be able to return to the pitch.
