Wales opt against June friendly?

Chris Coleman turns down the chance of hosting a friendly prior to Wales's Euro 2016 qualifier against Belgium, according to a report.

Wales have reportedly declined the chance to take on Northern Ireland in a friendly match later this year.

The Football Association of Wales are said to have previously held talks with a number of countries regarding a game in June, but BBC Sport claims that the Dragons will now hold a two-week long training camp instead.

It is suggested that manager Chris Coleman made the decision in order to focus solely on the upcoming Euro qualifier against Belgium, without the risk of his players getting distracted by another game a few days prior to that huge clash in Cardiff.

Wales are currently level with Belgium at the top of the Group B standings in the race for France 2016, with both sides taking 11 points from their first five games of the campaign.
