Craig Dawson: 'West Bromwich Albion must learn from mistakes in Everton defeat'

West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson believes that his teammates need to learn from their mistakes after they relinquished a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 against Everton.

West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson has called on his players to learn from their mistakes following their 3-2 defeat to Everton in Monday night's Premier League clash at The Hawthorns.

Saido Berahino fired the Baggies ahead at the end of the first half, before Dawson headed in after the break to double their lead.

Romelu Lukaku pulled a goal back for the Toffees, who then levelled the scores when Arouna Kone drilled past Boaz Myhill, before Lukaku added a second late on to seal the remarkable turnaround.

Dawson told reporters after the game: "We build ourselves on clean sheets and to be two goals up and lose the game is very disappointing.

"We know Everton are a top team but we have to pull our socks up and learn from our mistakes. To concede straight after scoring is disappointing and we have to learn from it."

The result keeps West Brom in 15th place in the Premier League table.
