Shane Long "happy" at West Bromwich Albion

West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long insists that he is "happy" to be playing for the club.

Shane Long has reaffirmed his commitment towards West Bromwich Albion.

The Republic of Ireland international has been linked with a move away from the Baggies this summer, with Lazio and Sevilla both said to be interested in his services.

However, the 26-year-old has insisted that he is "happy" to be playing his football under the management of Steve Clarke.

"I am happy here. I like playing for the manager here," he is quoted as saying by the Express & Star.

"He has been really good and I'm learning a lot every week, the lads are good and my family are very happy here so I'm not looking to move on.

"I'm just looking at this season and getting a few more goals before the summer, then we can go from there."

Long joined West Brom in 2011 from fellow Premier League side Reading.
