Arsene Wenger rubbishes Mirko Vucinic rumours

Arsene Wenger says that Arsenal are looking to strengthen during the transfer window, but has ruled out a move for Mirko Vucinic.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dismissed rumours linking the club with a move for Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic.

The 30-year-old has been mooted as a possible target for the Gunners during the current transfer window, but Wenger insists that he is not focused on signing him.

"We are looking at potential possibilities for us to get someone in, but we are not especially in for Vucinic," he told the club's official website.

"We are not on any special case. I would love to announce something that would excite you and me, but I don't have the possibility to do it."

Arsenal held on to their position at the top of the Premier League by claiming a 2-0 win over Fulham this afternoon.
