Report: Monaco want Diego Costa, Diego Simeone, Iker Casillas

A report claims that Monaco want to appoint Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone this summer, in addition to signing Diego Costa and Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

French outfit Monaco are reportedly preparing a sensational triple swoop on La Liga this summer.

The Ligue 1 side are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper and had widely been expected to complete the signing of Victor Valdes from Barcelona.

However, a long-term injury to the Spanish international has scuppered that move.

According to France Football, Real Madrid stopper Iker Casillas has now emerged as their main target, with the Spain captain due to depart the Bernabeu in the summer.

The same report has claimed that Monaco will also target Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone and leading scorer Diego Costa, who has been strongly linked with Chelsea.

Simeone and Costa could reportedly both triple their base salary at the principality club.
