Boavista secure their second win of the season and move up to eighth in the Primeira Liga with a 2-0 away win against Academica.

Boavista secured their second win of the season with a 2-0 away victory against Academica this evening.

The visitors took the lead with just one minute on the clock when Jose Silva netted his first goal of the season.

It took another 85 minutes for the second goal to emerge, with midfielder Anderson Carvalho also scoring his first of the season to seal the win for the Porto-based club.

As a result, Boavista move up to eighth in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, while Academica remain bottom of the table having lost all five of their games this season.
