Sports Mole rounds up the day's action from League Two, where Bristol Rovers and Fleetwood Town recorded important wins.

Gillingham missed the chance to go top of the League Two table on Saturday afternoon as they were held at home by York City.

York, who are now without a win in four matches, took the lead early in the first half courtesy of a Charlie Lee own goal, but Cody McDonald rescued a point for the Gills five minutes from full time.

Fellow promotion hopefuls Rotherham United dropped out of the playoff places after losing 3-1 at home to Bristol Rovers.

Claude Davis endured a torrid debut for the Millers as he conceded a 43rd-minute penalty, which was converted by Lee Brown for the opening goal.

The Jamaica international's day got even worse moments later when he was sent off for collecting his second yellow card.

Ellis Harrison doubled Rovers' lead with a wonderful solo goal just after the interval, before Joe Anyinsah made it three on the hour and David Noble pulled one back 17 minutes from time.

Southend United have replaced Rotherham in the top seven following a 1-0 win at Chesterfield.

Fleetwood, who recorded a 3-0 win over Oxford United at Highbury Stadium, are level on points with the Essex outfit in eighth.

Elsewhere, there were wins for Burton Albion and Morecambe, while Plymouth Argyle and Accrington Stanley played out a goalless draw at Home Park.

Wycombe Wanderers' match at Bradford City was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Results in full: Burton Albion 1-0 Barnet, Chesterfield 0-1 Southend, Dag & Red 1-2 Morecambe, Fleetwood 3-0 Oxford Utd, Gillingham 1-1 York, Plymouth 0-0 Accrington, Rotherham 1-3 Bristol Rovers
