Rio Ferdinand: 'Manchester United still able to attract world-class talent'

Queens Park Rangers defender Rio Ferdinand praises former club Manchester United's movement in the transfer window.

Queens Park Rangers defender Rio Ferdinand has said that former club Manchester United's movement in this summer's transfer market has shown their standing as one of the biggest clubs in world football.

United finished seventh in the Premier League last season and have therefore been unable to offer Champions League football to potential new recruits.

However, the club have added the likes of Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao to their squad this summer, with Ferdinand praising the movement.
