Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says that he is expecting 'an open game' with Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night.

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that he is expecting plenty of goals when Manchester United face Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday night.

While United currently trail one of their fierce rivals, the North-West giants will move ahead of the Gunners on goal difference should they prevail at Old Trafford.

United currently possess one of the best defensive records in the division, but Solskjaer feels that the showdown with the Gunners will be 'an open game'.

Solskjaer told Sky Sports: "The next game, if you win it, is the perfect game, whatever opponent you meet. For us, the games against Arsenal have always been great for the spectators, and for us. We've got a good record against them. For us it's about focusing on ourselves, doing our bit, and seeing if we can solve the problems they give us.

"I think it will be an open game, two teams that want to attack, and the next game is always the perfect occasion to prove yourselves. Every game here is a game you want to win, and have to win.

"We are looking forward to it. I've watched Unai Emery over many years, and system-wise he can come with any shape, he knows it all."

The fixture is the first of three for United next week, with AZ to follow in the Europa League before a league meeting at Newcastle United on Sunday.
