Manchester United manager David Moyes insists that the club will sign new players before the end of the summer transfer window.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has insisted that new additions will arrive at the club before the close of the summer transfer window.

Uruguayan youngster Guillermo Valera is the only player to move to Old Trafford during the window so far, but reports have claimed that the full-back could be sent on loan.

The Premier League champions have failed to sign Thiago Alcantara, who opted to move to Bayern Munich, while two bids have been rejected by Barcelona for midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

"I do think we'll be bringing players in before the window shuts," Sky Sports News quotes Moyes as saying. "They will come. We're moving along but if you said, 'is anything close?', I couldn't give you an answer.

"I'm relaxed, we've got a squad here and it's the same group of players that won the Premier League last year. You can never tell until the season starts but we are looking forward to it."

Reports have claimed that United are poised to make a bid for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
